Two ROP Monitoring Committees

Geoagiu-Băi, a once thriving spa resort in the mountainous region of Hunedoara County, was the host of two related events: the last meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the 2007-2013 Regional Operational Programme and the second meeting of the 2014-2020 ROP Monitoring Committee. The events were organized by the West Regional Development Agency and I had the opportunity to be the interpreter at both meetings.

Representatives of the government, various NGOs and local authorities, and the European Commission convened to review the results of the past programme and identify lessons for the future one. Questions and answers, debates and presentations blended into a coherent and meaningful dialogue against the impressive mountain backdrop.
